We are currently seeking an experienced Used Car Reconditioning Mechanic to join our Caloundra dealership. This role plays a key part in preparing quality pre-owned vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet our safety, performance and presentation standards.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Complete mechanical inspections, diagnostics and repairs on used vehicles
  • Carry out reconditioning work efficiently and to a high standard
  • Identify and communicate additional repair needs to the Service Team
  • Conduct road tests to confirm vehicle condition
  • Work autonomously while contributing to a supportive and collaborative workshop environment
  • Maintain accurate job records and adhere to PMG safety and compliance processes

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Automotive (Light Vehicle) or equivalent Trade Qualified
  • Previous experience in a dealership or reputable workshop (used car reconditioning experience highly regarded)
  • Minimum 5+ years of automotive experience in dealership or workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising standards
