Join Our Team Child Care Centre Cook Wanted
Are you passionate about cooking and working with children? We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic cook to join our team at our vibrant Child Care Centre This part-time position offers a fantastic work-life balance, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 1 PM.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for 40 children per day from 0-5 years of age
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Work closely with the team to accommodate dietary requirements, needs and preferences.
- Help promote healthy eating habits in an engaging and fun way.
We're looking for someone who:
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood nutrition and menu planning for children in an early childhood education service.
- Demonstrated knowledge of H.A.C.C.P. guidelines and relevant Australian Dietary Guidelines
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including dealing with people from various backgrounds in relation to dietary and cultural issues
