The Opportunity

The Strategic Projects team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Officer.

The Senior Project Officer provides a range of high-level project coordination and services to support the end-to-end delivery of projects in the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education (DVCE) portfolio, including oversight and management of University Student Academic Progress and Compulsory Modules processes.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for undertaking a range of high-level project coordination duties, including: working with stakeholders to scope and plan project deliverables, monitoring and reporting against budget, timeframes and other performance indicators, managing a schedule of project meetings and planning and implementing change management strategies. Further, you will coordinate and administer the delivery of a high quality program of services, systems or administrative processes in accordance with best practice and University policies, procedures and strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
