Based in our Melbourne office, this full-time role of Regulatory Response Coordinator works closely with the Regulatory Response Manager. You will be responsible for receiving, referring, and resolving client complaints to ensure fair, effective, and timely outcomes.
This position requires resilience, adaptability, and confidence in managing difficult conversations. You'll need to balance professionalism with empathy, connecting with purpose even in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
A high attention to detail to accurately record dispute details and manage cases in line with Internal and External Dispute Resolution (IDR/EDR) processes
Facilitate outcomes through conciliation, negotiation, and problem-solving
Conduct formal investigations and clearly communicate findings to all stakeholders
Contribute to a collaborative culture aimed at reducing matters that escalate to EDR
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in dispute resolution
Strong willingness to learn and grow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
Experience within the financial services or financial planning industries
Experience liaising with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
