Pro AV Solutions is Australia's most experienced, respected, and awarded Audio Visual Integration company, with branches across NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA, and WA. We design, integrate, support, and maintain high-quality, network-centric Audio-Visual systems for corporate, government, education, and defence environments. Backed by passion, pride, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, we continually strive to set the benchmark in our industry. In 2025, this commitment was recognised nationally, with Pro AV Solutions named by The Australian as one of the Best Places to Work, 2025.
We are excited to be looking for a high achieving General Manager for our NSW branch. This position will operate strategically as part of the executive leadership team and report directly to the Joint CEO's to support and drive the strategic direction of Pro AV Solutions NSW.
About The Role:
The General Manager will play a leading role by driving the development, implementation and achievement of the organisation's strategic plan as well as leading all aspects of our Sales, Operations, Service, Engineering, Technical Deployment, Project and Warehouse/Logistics teams. You will be responsible for ensuring our strategic goals are met and that we are a profitable organisation by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, all whilst balancing the needs for investment in people, growth, technology and other longer-term objectives. We expect you to be adding strategic value at the executive level but also be hands-on and an effective communicator leading and inspiring our team members in NSW.
As you can see, we're looking for someone who will be focused on pragmatic solutions that achieve great results and use evidence-based measurement and ongoing innovations to ensure Pro AV Solutions continues its market-leading success. As an employer we pride ourselves on our positive corporate culture and encourage applications from a diverse range of candidates. You may be in a Head of Operations role looking for more of a challenge, or you may be an existing GM, looking to transfer to an organisation with greater career potential. Regardless of circumstances, this is a fantastic opportunity for those who have excelled in the past and are looking for a satisfying role, in a company at the forefront of its industry.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated achievement and experience in a GM/Head of Operations role
- Proven history in leading and inspiring individuals and teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- A track record in generating and delivering outcomes, on-budget and to tight schedules.
- Proven ability to build positive, enduring relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in a technology-based industry with recurring revenue streams/enterprise consumption or with an organisation with multi-sites and projects is advantageous.
- A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning.
We encourage applications from candidates with disabilities, of all ages and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and diverse community groups.
All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
