We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.

We are currently seeking suitably experienced applicants for this full-time role based in 'Lowlands' Mt Gambier.
Stock Handling
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Induction processes
  • Animal husbandry
  • Stock movements
  • Pen riding
  • Yard work
  • Loading and unloading of cattle / sheep

Front End Loader Tractor Operation

  • Silage/hay harvest
  • Filling hay rings with fodder

Farm Maintenance

  • Maintaining electric fences
  • Maintaining water system
  • Trough cleaning and maintenance

Skills & Experiences

  • You must be reliable, physically fit and willing to work as part of a team
  • You understand the importance of personal hygiene, attention to detail and following procedures
  • Certificate II or III agriculture (or equivalent assessed by relevant authority) would be preferred, but not essential
  • You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
  • You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
  • Applicants must have reliable mode of transport to and from work
