About the role
Medical Rescue is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic and growing organisation. This full-time position will see you contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
What you'll be doing

Working with our project and team leaders to understand their HR needs and provide strategic support

Driving the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and off-boarding

Administering and continuously improving HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance and best practice

Providing employee relations support, including coaching managers, investigating grievances, and resolving workplace issues

Assisting with organisational development initiatives, such as training, leadership development, and culture programs

Maintaining accurate employee records and HR data, and generating reports to support business decision-making
What we're looking for

3+ years' experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels

Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-focused approach

Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is desirable
