PSYCHOLOGIST

We are seeking Registered Psychologist, to provide psychological support to 14 to 24 year-olds in this specialist education program based in the centre of Melbourne.

This is a real opportunity to make a long-term difference to young people's lives and change their futures

Role Details:

  • Support clients aged 14-24 with mental health conditions, to re-engage with education.
  • Provide counselling, therapy and deliver programs to individuals and groups.
  • Complete psychological assessments to identify individual's needs.
  • Work with care givers and external agencies to ensure appropriate care outside the learning environment
  • Assist in the development of existing and new programs to support students
  • Secondary consultation with educators and advising on how to support students and identify issues.
  • Crisis management and response

Selection Criteria:

  • AHPRA General Registered Psychologist
  • Clinical registrar or endorsement desirable.
  • Experience within an education setting advantageous
  • Strong assessment and interventional experience within mental health
  • The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and WWCC
  • Current Driver's License
