About the Role

As a Duty Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations across all areas of the club, including gaming, bar, customer service, compliance, and staff leadership. You'll lead from the front, coaching, supporting, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service and ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely across the venue.You will play a key role in upholding our club's reputation for professionalism, community focus, and compliance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across bar, gaming, and customer service areas
• Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming, and responsible conduct regulations (RSA, RCG, RGO)
• Supervise, support, and mentor frontline team members
• Coordinate shift briefings, incident response, and end-of-shift reporting
• Conduct performance reviews, probation check-ins, and staff training walk-throughs
• Act as Chief Fire Warden and First Aid Officer on duty
• Build strong relationships with regulators, contractors, and NSW Police as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented venue at all times

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 3+ years' experience as a Duty Manager in a licensed club
• RSA, RCG & Advanced RCG competency (NSW)
• Provide First Aid certification
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Leadership & Management / Hospitality
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work across a rotating 24/7 roster
• Strong computer and report writing skills
• Sound knowledge of gaming machines, TAB, Keno, and bar operations
• Ability to lead by example and mentor junior staff
• Demonstrated emotional intelligence and professionalism

Desirable:

• Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation
• Experience with Swiftpos, S7000, Employment Hero
• NSW Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
