ACE's main priority is to provide clients with an end-to-end material handling solution that includes design, fabrication and on-site support services – both within Australia and across the world.

We are recruiting for a highly experienced and motivated Store Person to complement our team. This is a hands-on position that plays a vital role in receiving and delivering parts to the workshop and maintaining accurate inventory. Based in Wangara this role is a full time position, Monday to Friday, reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Officer .

About the role:

This role will be responsible for:

  • Picking and packing orders
  • Checking and inspecting parts received and ensuring that they are of accurate quantity, acceptable quality, and type
  • Assist with the logistics of incoming / outgoing goods
  • Monitoring inventory control
  • Ensuring a clean and tidy warehouse
  • Conducting regular stock takes for procurement process
  • Assisting with out of stock parts by escalating to our Purchasing Dept
  • Maintaining tooling register, ensure equipment test and tag is up to date
  • Frequent manual handling tasks
  • Provide assistance to the production staff as required

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar position and/or in a stores/warehouse environment
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Manual Licence
  • HR Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre employment medical
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • A positive attitude to work and desire to 'get the job do
