**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an in-store **Trade Sales Consultant** based in **Canning Vale**for a motivated and career orientated professional to build and maintain key relationships with our valued Trade customers. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Retail store team - reporting to the Store Manager.

**This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a rotating roster which will include some weekend work, including weekend loading rates.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintaining and developing relationships with all assigned customers
- Identifying and developing new customers and confident in cold calling
- Growing sales
- Identifying new product and market opportunities
- Liaising with the operations team to improve product design and customer service
- Preparing project quotations and sales proposals
- Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies and procedures
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment

**ABOUT YOU**
- A proven sales track record, preferably in the building or hardware industry
- Be action oriented and able to effectively communicate at all levels
- Be a hands on, practical person with a good technical ability
- Estimating experience would be highly valued but not essential
- Be honest, self motivated and have a passionate desire to be successful
- Have the ability to work in a team environment
- Have excellent business building and prospecting skills
- Computer literacy
- The ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
- A team player that has a passion for retail sales
- Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
