About the role

Reporting directly to the Contract Services Manager, the Supervisor has the responsibility of quoting and supervising multiple projects / minor works up to approximately $150,000 in value.

In this role you will manage various contracts for service delivery in accordance with Contract KPI's and client expectations of your role. This includes overseeing all stages of project delivery including: Scoping and pricing, advice and guidance to client on scope, allocation of works and setting schedule, monitoring onsite safety and compliance, ensuring completion of works to quality standard, handing over project to client and then managing any defects of work

What you'll be doing

  • Quoting of minor works projects as required by clients
  • Supervise minor works jobs as quoted or allocated to you by other managers
  • Engaging and coordinating subcontractors as required to ensure they understand their duties, with focus on value for money and compliance
  • Delivery of projects to scope, within allocated timeframes and budget
  • Conducting tool boxes, pre starts and site inspections when required
  • Managing of project documentation

What we're looking for

  • Qualification in Project Management or minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in project supervision and projects works
  • Experience in supervising an internal team and contractors.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver projects or services to required standards within agreed time frames.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to achieve strict deadlines
  • Experience undertaking works for the commercial, industrial or government sectors is preferred
  • Working with Children's check or the ability to obtain one
  • A strong commitment to safety and the ability to write, review and comply with JSA's, SWMS and other relevant safety processes.
