Newcastle Maitland Hunter, Australia Workfast Full time $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Workfast is looking for Industrial Electricians to join our client's project in Lake Munmorah NSW.

  • $58 per hour plus penalties, super and allowances
  • 1 month project
  • 5 days a week
  • DIDO

Candidates must have at least4 yearsof Industrial Electrical Experienceand an Australian Electricians licence.Workfast will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Shirts and Jackets. You MUST be reliable and hardworking. This job is a casual position with full-time hour weeks for the right Commissioning Electricianand potential long-term work. Plenty of overtime.

What you need

  • Australian Electrical Licence
  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • LVR / CPR Certification
  • Construction White Card
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Qualified Electrician / Commissioning Technician
  • Certification in Commissioning / Instrumentation (highly desirable)
  • Large scale inverter experience
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass full pre - employment medical / drug and alcohol

What you will be doing

  • Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV primary plant including power transformers & HV Cables
  • Basic secondary system testing and fault finding
  • Assist in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
