We are an Australian company with a national presence recognised for building modern energy solutions in the pursuit of energy efficiency, reliability, and emissions reduction.
We have a diverse workforce delivering modern hot water, steam and furnace engineering solutions and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia.
We provide Solution and Energy Efficiency Consulting, System Design, and Project Management covering EPC as well as maintenance across all elements of steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations that have boiler solutions.
The Job
The Sales lifecycle at O'Brien is a consultative process and contributions and support come from all areas of the business starting with the Directors through to Managers and our specialists.
This role supports our clients to help them understand how we can assist them in achieving improved efficiency, productivity and environmental outcomes that are great for their business and the wider community. This role also works closely with colleagues in Projects, Engineering, Service & Maintenance, Energy Efficiency Consulting, and Finance to:
- Drive methodical and structured Sales process
- Manage and contribute to proposals and pricing
- Continuously improving our sales management standards, practices, and principles
- Monitor and analyse market trends and develop effective strategies for these
- Build and maintain long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our clients
This position is based in the office at Prestons, NSW which has onsite parking, and modern facilities. You will report to our Chief Sales Officer and work closely with the executive leadership team.
The Requirement
We are looking for an energetic individual with drive likes to make a difference and is passionate about consultative solution sales. You will need to be driven and have initiative and confidence. Having a go and believing that anything is possible is essential. To be successful in this position you will need:
- B2B Solution Sales experience ideally in an engineering or technical services environment
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, a trade or aligned experience will be useful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Intra and interstate travel with overnight stays on occasion will be required so you will need a valid driver's license
