Role Perspective:

As a Construction Service Officer, you'll play a vital role in providing administrative and operational support to facilitate split and single contract construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, coordinating with various builders, property managers, and investors, ensuring seamless communication, and facilitating operational support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Monitor and manage task progress, allocations, and processes.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between investors, contractors, and relevant parties throughout the construction phases.
  • Address any concerns or queries promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Ensure smooth transitions post-completion by overseeing property management arrangements.
  • Sourcing property management alternatives to suit clients' needs and expectations.
  • Manage risk by overseeing insurance organization and verifying accuracy upon practical completion.
  • Coordinate defects inspections with licensed third-party inspectors.
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and assist in resolving pre & post construction, property management queries, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Initiate prompt communication with clients immediately after settlement confirmation.

Qualifications:

  • Certifications or additional coursework related to compliance, administration, or relevant areas are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in specific software/tools relevant to compliance and administration is desirable.
  • 2-3 years' industry experience (preferred).
  • Clear Police & Credit Report (mandatory).

Please be aware that this position is a full-time on-site role and work from home arrangements are not an option. Successful candidates must be prepared to work exclusively from the office in CBD Melbourne, subject to change to CBD or outer city suburbs.
