Join Nine Mile's Global ETF Market Making team based in Sydney.

We currently specialize in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan across ETF and Delta-1 products, and we are exploring future opportunities to broaden our coverage into the Korean and Indian markets.

As we continue our expansion, we're interested in speaking with experienced ETF and Delta-1 traders who have exposure to KRX and/or NSE/BSE, and who may be aligned with our trading style, culture, and long-term growth plans.

Potential responsibilities may include:

  • Contributing to the development and execution of trading strategies across Korean and Indian ETF/D1 markets
  • Researching HFT opportunities within these markets
  • Collaborating with our existing Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan teams to share insights and support broader regional performance
  • Assisting in the design and refinement of algorithmic strategies and tooling
  • Engaging with relevant exchanges, issuers, brokers, and regulators in Korea and India where required

What You Will Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in High-Frequency Trading or a sophisticated Market-Making environment
  • Strong understanding of ETF/Delta-1 microstructure; experience with KRX or NSE/BSE is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++
  • Highly advanced skills in probability, statistics, and quantitative modelling
  • Strong numerical and analytical problem-solving capabilities
  • A passion for financial markets and systematic trading
  • Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a similar quantitative field
