The Role

As part of our continued expansion, we're looking for an experienced Quantitative Futures Trader to develop and run strategies across APAC futures markets, while remaining open to candidates with global futures experience.

You will focus on both statistical arbitrage and market-making strategies, leveraging Nine Mile's infrastructure and working closely with our ETF market-making desk.

You will:

  • Design, implement, and optimise stat-arb and market-making strategies in futures
  • Work closely with our ETF market-making team to share insights and enhance execution
  • Identify new opportunities across APAC and global futures markets to drive consistent PnL

This is a high-impact role with significant autonomy to shape and deploy your strategies within a proven trading environment.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant trading experience at a leading proprietary trading firm
  • Strong track record in HFT or MFT futures or market-making strategies
  • Advanced programming ability (Python and/or C++)
  • Deep expertise in statistics, probability, and numerical analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and clear communication
  • STEM academic background
