About the Role

A reputable community pharmacy is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee front-of-shop operations. You'll manage staff rosters, budgets, supplier relationships and banking, ensuring smooth day-to-day performance and financial control. Working closely with the onsite pharmacist and ownership team, this position requires strong leadership, commercial insight and a hands-on approach to retail management.

  • Full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) or flexible part-time option

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front-of-shop operations including staff supervision and scheduling
  • Oversee banking, cash flow and stock ordering through medical reps
  • Monitor and maintain budget performance and expense control
  • Collaborate with the pharmacist and ownership team to meet sales and service goals
  • Drive customer engagement and ensure a high standard of service
  • Support and mentor team members to build a motivated, efficient workplace

What You'll Need

  • Previous retail management experience in a pharmacy setting (essential)
  • Strong budgeting, stock control and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • A collaborative attitude with focus on team success and customer care
