Role Description

This is an on-site 6 months contract role with a view of extension based on performance, for a Java/Python Developer located in Sydney, NSW with a well known client. The Java/Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, and implementing object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. The role involves programming, managing databases, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet business needs. The developer will also be expected to troubleshoot and debug applications as necessary.

Primary Skills:

Java/Python, Docker, Kubernetes, CICD pipeline development (preferably with bamboo),Shell script

Secondary Skills:

Azure/AWS Cloud, Ansible, Git, Github and actions , Node, Kafka, Microservices, Cassandra/Mongo database

Other requirement:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Back-End Development.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming
  • Skilled in working with Databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Prior experience in the banking is a plus

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to $600.00 per day
