Full-Time Junior Night Auditor – Night & Afternoon Shifts

Role Overview:

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. In this pivotal role, you'll support overnight operations, ensure seamless guest experiences, and work closely with the Night Manager to uphold our high standards of service and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring a smooth and secure environment.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns, maintenance issues, and emergencies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including handling late check-ins, early check-outs, and guest requests.
  • Conduct night audits, reconcile daily revenue, and prepare accurate financial reports.
  • Experience with property management systems (any PMS system acceptable) for revenue reconciliation and reporting.
  • Accounting background or experience with financial reporting processes an advantage.
  • Monitor security systems and perform regular property checks.
  • Manage emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless shift transitions.
  • Maintain and improve night operations through SOPs and detailed shift reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with the day team to ensure continuity and service excellence.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel operations, ideally in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Available to work overnight shifts (11pm–7am), including weekends and public holidays, with flexibility for occasional afternoon (3pm–11pm) shifts.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate and RSA.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Have full working rights in Australia.
