The Opportunity Due to ongoing growth and an expanding management portfolio, this newly created position has been introduced as an additional resource within the agency's high-functioning Finance team.

The role is ideally suited to a Senior Trust Accounts Administrator or Assistant Accountant with strong experience in commercial or retail property accounts and ready for their next career move.

Working closely with the Head of Finance and Property Management team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, compliance, and smooth operation of all trust and marketing accounts within a busy and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the accounting and administration of all retail trust and marketing accounts.
  • Bank statement management and daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Process receipts, charges, letting and lease renewal fees, advertising, and creditor invoices.
  • Assist with rent roll accounting, owner payments, and landlord statements.
  • Upload and reconcile budgets and ensure compliance with REBA trust standards.
  • Process settlements, rent reviews, and tenant adjustments.
  • Assist with audits and reporting to external accountants.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support internal controls and compliance.

About You You're a capable, detail-focused accounting professional who thrives in a structured but fast-paced environment. You take ownership of your work, communicate confidently, and are ready to step into greater responsibility within a reputable, growing business.

You will have:

  • Solid experience in trust accounting administration or a similar property finance role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial or retail property accounts.
  • Excellent accuracy and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MYOB (Cirrus8 experience highly regarded).
  • A collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
  • Qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance (desirable).
