McKenna & Associates have been briefed by a leading law firm in Western Australia, seeking a commercial lawyer to join their growing team.

Our Client advises medium to large organisations, private entities, family businesses, government agencies, NFP, social enterprises and public companies.

About The Role

You will enjoy the benefits of practicing independently whilst remaining part of a stable and highly experienced team, led by a Partner who is also a business owner/Director with a highly revered reputation in the WA commercial law setting.

You will work with the practice's well established and diverse client base across business advisory, commercial and insolvency matters.

About You

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of four years' post admission experience in a broad range of commercial matters;
  • A right to work in Australia without restriction;
  • Exposure to taxation law and carriage of matters;
  • Strong drafting and advisory skills;
  • Proactive team approach and be a self-starter;
  • A willingness to take on responsibility for driving matters to completion;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • A strong client service ethic;
  • An enthusiastic approach to being actively involved in business development activities; and
  • A demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise tasks.
