About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic 2IC (Second in Charge) Educator to support the Coordinator in the day-to-day running of our OSHC program.

You'll take on a leadership role within our team helping to plan engaging programs, guide other educators and make sure every child has a great experience at our service.

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, build strong relationships with children and families, and step into the Coordinator position when needed.

What you'll be doing:

• Support the OSHC Coordinator in daily operations, programming and administration.

• Help lead and motivate a team of educators.

• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and the College community.

• Plan and deliver creative, play-based activities that children love.

• Ensure the service meets safety, wellbeing and quality standards under the NQF.

• Take charge of shifts when the Coordinator is away.

• Help create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.

What we're looking for:

• A qualified educator (minimum Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent)

• Previous experience in OSHC or similar child-focused setting

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates

• Great communication and leadership skills

• Organised, flexible and confident stepping into a leadership role

• A positive, hands-on team player with a genuine love for working with children

Hours of Work (typical shifts include):

• Before School Care: 6:00am to 8:30am

• After School Care: 2:00pm to 6:00 pm

• Vacation Care: Between 6:30am to 5:30 pm (as rostered)
