Your new company

A well-established school is seeking a passionate and reliable educator to join their vibrant Before and After School Care Program. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working flexible hours that fit around your day.

Your new role

In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including, but not limited to:

  • Supervise and engage children in a safe, supportive environment
  • Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities (e.g. games, crafts, sports
  • Assist with homework and learning tasks
  • Promote positive behaviour and social development
  • Communicate with parents and school staff
  • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
  • Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met
  • Prepare and serve snacks
  • Support children with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver quality care

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require the following;

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card in QLD)
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Understanding of National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver educational programs
  • Commitment to child safety and wellbeing
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will be offered an immediate start working with a dynamic team at the fast-paced after-school care organisation.

You will be offered an attractive rate of $37.00 per hour plus super, working Monday to Friday 30-35/hrs a week on a casual or permanent contract.
