About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist In Charge to join our team at Destro's Pharmacy in Drummoyne, NSW. This is a regular role, offering 2-3 weeknight shifts per week.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
  • Providing expert pharmaceutical advice and patient care, including dispensing medications, providing counselling, and monitoring patient outcomes
  • Supervising and mentoring junior pharmacy staff to ensure high standards of service and patient safety
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensuring the secure storage and handling of pharmaceuticals
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to coordinate patient care
  • We are seeking for a Pharmacist with Vaccination skills and who is interested in extended scope .

What we're looking for

  • A current registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pharmacist in Australia , with demonstrated expertise in a community pharmacy setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Proficient in the use of pharmacy management software and other relevant technology
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
