Electrical Engineer (Intermediate)

Company: Engineering Consultancy (Mining)

Type: Permanent Full-time

Location: Perth

The Role:

  • Design development for low voltage power distribution, motor control and PLC control systems for mining projects.
  • Preparation of design drawings, assisting with procurement of electrical equipment and working with external parties to fabricate control panels.
  • Occasional site visits during commissioning stage

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • Electrical/Controls Engineering Degree (recognised by Engineers Australia)
  • 4-6 years' experience with Gold mining projects, ideally with site exposure.
  • Candidates with wet mineral processing project experience are encouraged to apply too
  • Experience with PLC systems and Variable Speed Drives as well as Site or Commissioning experience is advantageous.
  • ONLY candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered. (Australian Citizen, PR holder, or Valid Australia working VISA with no restrictions
