GTS is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Canning Vale. As an Electrical Engineer at GTS, you will be a key member of our Technical Services department, contributing to the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems across all locations. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in electrical engineering to drive innovation and excellence within our organisation.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Testing, commissioning and maintenance on electrical equipment within your capabilities and experience

  • Interpretation of drawings/specifications/standards and regulations relating to electrical equipment

- Performing detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.

  • Developing project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

  • Providing technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards throughout all stages of project execution.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Hourly rate range $50 - $60 per hour, dependent upon skills and experience.

Academic or Trade Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering as a minimum

  • Eligibility to join Engineers Australia as a Professional

  • Must be legally able to work in Australia

  • Manual driver's license

Work Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ Years practical experience in the HV industry

  • Ability to be extremely adaptable and flexible

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Manual Handling (can be obtained after employment)

  • Ability to adjust in a fast-changing environment

  • Microsoft Office 365
