We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Marketplace Operations Specialist
to support the day-to-day operations and performance of the Country Road Group (CRG) Marketplace — spanning our portfolio of iconic brands: Country Road, Witchery, Trenery, MIMCO, and POLITIX.
This initial
6 month Fixed Term contract
is a hands-on role is essential in enabling the operational success of our Marketplace through smooth seller onboarding, premium product listings, fulfilment compliance, and issue resolution. You'll work closely with internal teams and external sellers to deliver an exceptional customer and seller experience, leveraging data and process excellence to support scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain marketplace account health by monitoring SLAs, order accuracy, shipping performance and returns.
- Support seller onboarding, ensuring data integrity, product imagery, pricing and stock levels meet CRG standards.
- Approve product listings, maintain catalogue quality, and troubleshoot listing or fulfilment issues while ensuring it is align with content and marketing plans.
- Identify and improve operational processes and contribute to building scalable SOPs.
- Track and report on marketplace KPIs — including GMV, margins, fulfilment SLAs, and catalogue accuracy.
- Analyse operational trends and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
- Act as a point of contact for sellers and cross functional support on operational matters, helping to resolve issues and improve performance.
Key Capabilities
- 3-5 years' experience in digital retail, eCommerce, or marketplace operations.
- Strong understanding of marketplace and dropship models, with experience managing seller integrations and fulfilment dependencies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, drive commercial outcomes, and support business growth.
- Solid experience in trading, seller negotiations, and improving margin outcomes.
- Confident in managing cross-functional relationships and resolving operational issues with a customer-first mindset.
- Highly organised, process-driven, and able to prioritise and escalate as needed.
