Join Our Team as a Detailer

Are you passionate about cars and take pride in making vehicles shine inside and out? We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Car Detailer to join our team at Caloundra GWM.

As a Detailer for Caloundra GWM you are part of the Pacific Gympie Dealership Group with 3 dealership locations between Gympie and the Sunshine Coast and you will have access to all of our brands such as GWM, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Honda, Renault and JAC. The Pacific Gympie dealership group is family-owned and has been operating for over 20 years in the Gympie and Sunshine Coast region and provides jobs to over 90 people locally. You will be joining a friendly, and positive team who are passionate about all things automotive, achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and achieving high results.

About the Role:

As a Car Detailer, you will play a key part in ensuring our vehicles look their absolute best before being handed over to our customers. From new and used car deliveries to preparing showroom vehicles, your attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work will help create a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles
  • Wash, vacuum, polish, and wax vehicles to showroom standard
  • Apply protective treatments and cleaning products
  • Ensure vehicles are presented professionally for display and delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Assist with vehicle movement as required
  • Wash service and vacuum service vehicles
  • Yard washes when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous detailing or car cleaning experience (preferred but not essential – training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's licence (manual preferred)
