We're looking for a nurturing and confident Room Leader to guide our Babies Room, caring for children aged walking to 2 years at our brand-new Tall Tree Early Learning Centre in White Gum Valley, opening 13th October 2025.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate educator to step into a leadership role within a beautifully designed, purpose-built environment where every child's learning journey is respected and celebrated.

Preferred start date: 29th September 2025, to support team induction, classroom setup, and preparation for a strong start.

Your Role as Babies Room Leader

As the Room Leader of our Babies Room, you will provide structure, support, and warmth for young children navigating the vital early stages of independence and learning. You will create a nurturing, play-based environment where toddlers feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the daily rhythm of the room including routines, transitions, and group experiences
• Developing age-appropriate learning opportunities that support developmental milestones
• Creating and maintaining a calm, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting and guiding assistant educators and working collaboratively with the wider team
• Building meaningful relationships with families through regular communication and involvement
• Contributing to high-quality documentation, curriculum planning, and reflective practice

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a caring and capable educator who is committed to building secure relationships with toddlers and providing a consistent, high-quality learning environment.

You will have:

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or be actively working towards your Diploma
• Experience working with toddlers aged 2 to 3.5 years in a long day care or early learning setting
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and early childhood development
• Confidence in leading a team, guiding daily routines, and supporting children's individual needs
• Warm communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork and family partnerships
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Child Protection certification, and a valid Working with Children Check (WA)
• Full Australian working rights
