Inspire Young Minds as a Kindy Room Leader (ECT) – White Gum Valley

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Kindy Room for children aged 3.5 to 5 years at our brand-new purpose-built Tall Tree Early Learning Centre in White Gum Valley, opening 13th October 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your teaching philosophy, creativity, and care will help shape the learning experiences of children preparing for school.

Preferred start date: 29th September 2025, to support a smooth team induction and classroom setup ahead of opening.

Your Role as Kindy Room Leader

In this role, you will lead the delivery of a high-quality educational program that supports school readiness and holistic development. You will create a nurturing, stimulating environment that promotes exploration, independence, and learning through play.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing a school-readiness program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and Reggio Emilia principles
• Leading daily routines, group experiences, and transitions with confidence and care
• Building strong and trusting relationships with children and their families
• Collaborating with educators to support reflective practice and high-quality documentation
• Contributing to curriculum planning, room setup, and ongoing improvement of the learning environment
• Supporting a calm, joyful, and inclusive classroom culture where every child feels seen, heard, and supported

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who is warm, confident, and deeply passionate about early years education. You will be someone who takes pride in building a vibrant classroom culture and brings leadership and intention to your teaching practice.

You will have:

• A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
• Experience working with Kindy-aged children (3–5 years) in an early learning or preschool setting
• A strong understanding of the EYLF, school readiness principles, and current early childhood practices
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
• A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to helping them thrive
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Child Protection certification, and a valid WA Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
