Job Description

Based in Adelaide, this full-time role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, foster client confidence, and grow a high-performing team committed to excellence.
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead and expand our Infrastructure Digital team in Adelaide. This pivotal role will see you:
- Drive digital solutions for major infrastructure programs, with a focus on client engagement and delivery excellence.
- Lead bid management and bid writing activities, securing new opportunities and partnerships.
- Oversee critical client deliveries, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and digital best practices.
- Develop and implement robust PMO and project controls systems to support data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team, fostering capability in digital infrastructure delivery.
Qualifications
Due to the nature of the client you must be able to achieve a Baseline clearance (Australian citizen).
We're looking for a dynamic leader with a strong consulting background and deep technical expertise. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience implementing data reporting and dashboarding solutions.
- Expertise in Agile delivery methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of data architecture, particularly within the Microsoft Azure data stack.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
- Exceptional experience in Project Controls and PMO systems.
- Experience with testing methodologies including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with data science techniques and best practices.
- Understanding of data modelling, including Kimball methodology.
- Ability to translate Azure data solution designs into actionable implementations.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
- Exposure to Digital Twin and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Collaborative mindset with attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency:
- Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau – advanced).
- Programming (Python, R, MS Visual Studio – intermediate).
- MS365 Power Platform (Apps, Automate – intermediate).
- Database platforms including Microsoft SQL, SSMS, Azure Synapse, Databricks.
- Familiarity with PMO and contract management systems such as EcoSys, Planview, Oracle Aconex, and Unifier.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong network across ANZ Infrastructure and a passion for digital innovation. You'll be embedded with the client in Adelaide, playing a key role in building trust and delivering impactful solutions.
