Associate Director / Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Structural engineering design on a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors.
  • Establishing and maintaining personal relationships within the local market.
  • Collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors on projects.
  • Managing projects, including fee estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling, and achieving budgets and deadlines under senior staff guidance.
  • Providing technical input to projects as required.
  • Attending site meetings and inspections as needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the following characteristics:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in structural engineering design and project delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering consultancy.
  • Proven business development experience.
  • IStructE or Chartered Engineering credential.
  • A well-rounded structural engineering skill set with a keen interest in further developing these skills.
  • The capability to liaise confidently and clearly with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong work ethic to achieve collective results.
  • An agile, outcomes-oriented project delivery focus.
