Venus Automation is looking for their next talented marketing intern. The opportunity is geared towards a university student with an marketing & ideally engineering background. This opportunity is UNPAID - however interns do receive a weekly transport allowance.

Candidates will be committing to minimum 4-6 months. No remote or hybrid work options. Offices are in Lane Cove, Sydney, NSW. Starting ASAP.

Venus Automation is a small business, and the internship offers a wide array of work experience. Interns will gain an in-depth understanding of digital marketing within the industrial automation and safety sector, with hands-on exposure to both strategy and execution.

Interns will work hand in hand with internal marketing and operational teams. This will give them extensive experience in:

  • Segmenting customer base and identifying target audiences.
  • Creating email marketing flows and campaigns.
  • Running Venus Automation's weekly social media posting schedule.
  • Content writing and creation.
  • Assisting with SEO marketing and keyword optimization.
  • Identifying and evaluating paid marketing opportunities.

We are a nimble and small business. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented. This internship affords candidates the chance to have a direct impact on business growth and implement their own ideas and strategies. You have the chance to build the marketing segment of a business.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Mailerlite, LinkedIn, Google Ads, SEO platforms) is a bonus.
  • On-site training and induction will be provided.

Student placement:

Frequency and work hours will be negotiated with the right candidate. This will suit students seeking part-time vocational placement (3–4 days/week) in a growing, highly skilled technical company.
