One arm of the business is inhouse manufacturing of commercial joinery. No two jobs are the same - each project brings new and interesting design concepts. The company are seeking a motivated, highly skilled and experienced tradesman to join our team in a LEADING HAND JOINER role.

Requirements for this role:

  • Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Carpentry or Joinery
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively face to face, in writing and via apps and email
  • Ability to mentor junior tradesmen and apprentices to assist with the development of their skills
  • Lead team members in the factory and on site
  • Read, Understand and interpret construction plans
  • Stay calm and focused under pressure to keep the fabrication on schedule
  • Good time management skills
  • Fit, healthy and eager to work
  • Punctual and Presentable

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Production Manager to manufacture high quality commercial joinery and manage on site installations
  • Use a variety of machinery, electric and hand tools
  • Communicate with Project Managers regarding site requirements / site measurements
  • Think outside the box with fabrication methods
  • Be available to work Mon-Fri 7am 3.30pm plus overtime when required
  • Be willing to work in the fabrication warehouse and on site installations
