Purpose of the Role

Leading a team of dedicated, Claims Consultants, you will be responsible for delivering consistently high levels of customer service while obtaining the lowest possible claims costs. 

Position Accountabilities

• Develop, coach, and motivate a team of Claims Consultants including daily coaching to ensure Consultants maintain skills, competencies & provide a high standard of service
• Prioritization and allocation of team portfolios including workload management
• Maintain highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external)
• Provide technical product, process, system, and compliance support
• Conduct performance reviews and assist with staffing requirements & recruitment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes

Knowledge and Experience:

• Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience
• Ability to lead & motivate a team and able to manage stakeholder relationships
• Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems and manage conflict with excellent communication skills
• Have a core focus on customer outcomes and relations
• Excellent attention to detail, decision making skills, able to be innovative with the ability to manage time and prioritize
