Purpose of the Role
Leading a team of dedicated, Claims Consultants, you will be responsible for delivering consistently high levels of customer service while obtaining the lowest possible claims costs.
Position Accountabilities
- Develop, coach, and motivate a team of Claims Consultants including daily coaching to ensure Consultants maintain skills, competencies & provide a high standard of service
- Prioritization and allocation of team portfolios including workload management
- Maintain highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external)
- Provide technical product, process, system, and compliance support
- Conduct performance reviews and assist with staffing requirements & recruitment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead & motivate a team and able to manage stakeholder relationships
- Ability to effectively analyse and resolve problems and manage conflict with excellent communication skills
- Have a core focus on customer outcomes and relations
- Excellent attention to detail, decision making skills, able to be innovative with the ability to manage time and prioritize
