The Waves Sports Club – Club of the Year 2025 winner in the Keno and Clubs QLD Awards for Excellence currently has an exciting opportunity for a Night Duty Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team to deliver smooth and efficient operation of the Club.

The Night Duty Manger will be tasked with leading employees, ensuring that service standards are first class, and that we remain a preferred venue of choice in our Region. The Waves seeks someone who is passionate about making a difference and who is committed to learning all they can as they progress through their career.

Some of the Night Duty Managers responsibilities and requirements include:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of a licensed venues operations
  • Demonstrated experience in Gaming, TAB, Keno, Food and Beverage
  • Continual compliance associated with running a licensed venue
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of venue products, services, activities, and promotions
  • Support and partner with Human Resources to deliver quality HR initiatives and services to enhance company development
  • Roster and timesheet management
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach
  • Is competent to complete all frontline positions and willing to assist departmental managers as required
  • Will actively supervise the floor to ensure service delivery standards are met
  • Excellent communication, numerical, problem solving and organisational skills.

Full-time / Salary position, RSA, RSG, RMLV Certifications, and two years minimum experience in a similar role are required.
