Leading Hand – Pineapple Farm, Beerwah

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Leading Hand to join our team on a family run pineapple farm. If you enjoy outdoor work, take pride in doing things well, and want to be part of a productive farm operation, this role offers long-term stability and variety.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Day-to-day farm operations, including: taking truckloads of fruit to pack houses, fork lifting when harvesting, and assisting with getting ground ready

  • Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Coordinating tasks with management and supporting seasonal workers

  • Assisting with fertilising, and weed control

  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Required Skills & Licences:

  • Current forklift licence, preferably with experience operating on uneven or off-road surfaces

  • Current truck licence

  • Ability to work independently

  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Front-end loader licence – can be obtained at a later date

  • Previous experience in horticulture, crop management, or machinery maintenance
