Farm Hand

Join our southern macadamia orchards team in Beerwah, Queensland, as a Farm Hand. This exciting role involves supporting operational and maintenance activities for macadamia crops. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, follow directions, and prioritise safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Orchard Supervisor you will be responsible to:

- Contribute to a positive and productive working environment by being respectful, precise, diligent, honest and ethical.
- Undertake operational activities including: Spraying (if chemical certificate held); Pruning, harvesting, fertilising, slashing and mulching; Farm maintenance and drainage; Operate and maintain plant and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain records for operational inputs, maintenance, chemical spraying, fertilising, irrigating, payroll and cost allocation timesheets, and safety.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of farming systems and safety processes.

**Requirements**:
To be successful, you will:

- Have previous experience working on a farming operation (preferred but not essential)
- Hold a current driver’s licence (C class)
- Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with strong written and oral communication skills
- Have the ability to operate machinery, plant and equipment (or the ability to develop these skills)

Applicants with a chemical certificate, forklift HRW licence, HR class licence, senior first aid certificate, or relevant trade certificate will be highly regarded.
