Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for a highly ambitious Discipline Process Engineer to support the development, optimization and improvement of processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability for a major capital works program in Laverton, Victoria.

The ideal candidate would be part of a project delivery team supporting the Principal Process Engineer.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Preparing technical reports, process engineering documentation, and standard operating procedures for projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors
- Analyses workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
- Ensures all processes and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality standards
- Reviews process hazard analyses (PHA), HAZOPs, and LOPAs to identify and mitigate potential risk
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders

- Minimum 4 years' direct experience on projects in major hazards facilities (MHF)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral
- Bachelor's degree in chemicals engineering (or related field)
- Must be available to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria
