Twin Loop Binding

We're a trade binder located in Belmore (NSW) with easy bus access and ample parking. We specialize in small to medium size binding runs, Twin Loop Binding is uniquely set up to accommodate the demands of the digital market. Our finishing services include, Perfect Binding (both PUR and EVA), Twin Loop Wire Binding, Plastic Spiral Binding, Comb Binding, Case Binding, Celloglazing and a Collating Service.

About the role

We're looking for a fit and healthy person capable of lifting up to 15 kg boxes and capable of standing for extended periods with a good eye for detail. Experience in bookbinding / print finishing / tablehand work and understanding print finishing standards would be helpful. The successful will need to be committed to helping meet deadlines and ensure the growth and development of the team.

The position is currently a part-time position with opportunities to grow into a full time position position.

The salary package will be presented in an offer of employment with the successful applicant. The trading hours for this position are between Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.  Extra hours will be offered during peak times including leading up to the December holidays.

Skills and experience

Key Responsibilities (will develop into)

  • Separating books from boxes and packing bound books.
  • Assisting with collating and other tableland duties.
  • Assisting the operators with case binding and perfect binding.

Experience

  • Between 1 and 2 years' experience as a Print Finisher would be helpful.
  • It is essential for the applicant to be fluent in English as the role involves reading written instructions and following verbal directives and may also involve working independently with a small team.
  • Ability to think quickly and work under pressure during busy periods.
  • All round production skills including bench work, collating, and packing.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail and quality control.
