About the role
Join our team as a Senior Research Assistant in South Brisbane, where you will play a vital role in supporting the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in the field.
Salary range: $41.47 to $44.69 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Research Assistant, you will provide comprehensive research and administrative support for the Stillbirth CRE's perinatal loss bereavement care program. Your responsibilities will include project management and supporting grant submissions, data collection and analysis, and preparation of reports and publications. You will also assist with program administration, meeting management, and resource development.
About you
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in public health or health-related science
- Experience in research project support, including ethics submissions and data collection
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently and collaboratively
- Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous learning.
