Our Adelaide Distribution Centre is home to several specialist branches and teams, benefiting from centralised logistics, repair and maintenance functions, which allows us to deliver a customer-focused approach to specialist equipment by offering customised solutions and leveraging our expertise.

As the Access Specialist Branch Manager, you'll play a key role within the broader Distribution Centre team. You'll work closely with our customers and partners on complex projects that require tailored solutions and hands-on project management.

About the role

The main purpose of this role is to drive the success of our Access Equipment product by increasing profitability, strengthening customer relationships, and growing revenue. As the go-to expert for Access equipment, you'll develop smart, innovative solutions for customers and help ensure our product offering remains ahead of market trends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the commercial success of the Access Equipment portfolio, including P&L accountability
  • Designing customer-focused equipment solutions and identifying new product opportunities
  • Collaborating with business development, logistics, and workshop teams across the DC
  • Building strong customer relationships and expanding the sales pipeline
  • Leading, developing, and engaging the branch team to maximise performance and achieve revenue targets
  • Preparing monthly reports and analysing lost business to drive improvements

About You

We're looking for a passionate leader with strong commercial skills and a hands-on approach. You'll be confident driving performance and leading a team, while working closely with internal teams and customers to deliver smart, effective outcomes.

You'll also bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a management or supervisory role, with strong coaching and delegation skills
  • Solid financial acumen and experience managing P&Ls
  • Exceptional customer service focus, including the ability to role model service standards and resolve issues
  • Business development experience, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire your team and connect with customers
  • Prior experience in the hire or equipment industry (highly regarded)
