About the Role

We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and building strong relationships. This is a full-time, office-based role located in our Mascot office, where you'll play a key role in keeping our accounts on track, ensuring smooth invoicing processes, and providing exceptional support to both our internal teams and clients. If you're passionate about numbers and staying organised, we'd love to have you on board

In addition to accounts receivable responsibilities, this role will also dabble in accounts payable duties as needed and assist with managing Home Owners Warranty Insurance, providing variety and opportunities to broaden your finance skill set.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Issuing accurate invoices and ensuring everything balances
  • Monitoring accounts and following up on overdue payments
  • Managing the Accounts inbox and efficiently handling queries
  • Updating insurer portals and our job flow management system, Prime
  • Offering friendly and professional support to both clients and team members
  • Assisting with financial reporting and general finance admin tasks
  • Providing support with accounts payable duties as required
  • Assisting with the management and processing of Home Owners Warranty Insurance

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the building, insurance, or a similar industry
  • Sharp attention to detail and a passion for keeping things running smoothly
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience with Xero and workflow management systems is a big plus
  • A proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
