About the role

High End Metal Roofing is seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Roofer to join our team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to take on an apprenticeship. As a Metal Roofer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of high-quality metal roofing systems for residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

  • Measuring, cutting, and installing metal roofing materials such as tiles, sheets, and flashings
  • Performing roof maintenance and repairs, including patching, sealing, and replacing damaged components
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Collaborating with the team to plan and coordinate roofing projects
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Experience in metal roofing installation, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship program (if applicable)
  • A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) is required
