About the role

A Canberra based Family owned Metal Roofing company is seeking an experienced Metal Roofer to join our team in Canberra, ACT. As a Metal Roofer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of metal roofing systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

What you'll be doing

1. Measuring, cutting, and installing metal roofing materials, such as steel, aluminium, and copper
2. Repairing and maintaining existing metal roofs, including fixing leaks and replacing damaged components
3. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality
4. Collaborating with the construction team to ensure seamless project delivery
5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Metal Roofer or similar role in the building trades industry
2. Strong knowledge of metal roofing materials, installation techniques, and safety protocols
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
5. Commitment to working safely and following all relevant regulations and guidelines
6. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship
7. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
