This is a large global technology focused organisation with over $1 billion in local revenue, undergoing significant transformation, modernising its operating model, systems, and structure to support continued growth across the region. With a strong footprint across Australia and New Zealand, the business is evolving its finance function to play a more strategic role in decision-making, insight, and governance.

About the Role:

Reporting to the CFO, this role will lead all controllership, financial accounting, reporting, financial control, shared services, compliance, audit, data analytics, and systems activity across ANZ and related group entities. You'll be responsible for leading large-scale transformation activities, including reorganisation, offshoring, system implementations, and M&A integrations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys modernising how finance operates, leveraging tools and technology to automate processes, streamline reporting, and deliver meaningful data-driven insights. You'll work closely with local, regional, and global finance teams, collaborating on group consolidation, system optimisation, and finance transformation initiatives.

About You:

You're an experienced Group Financial Controller who thrives in global, fast-moving environments. You will combine technical depth with curiosity and a drive to make things work better. You will have a strong track record in building high-performing teams (both on and offshore), driving finance transformation, and have experience within the technology or service-based industries. You will also have ideally trained in a chartered environment although this is not essential.
