About the Role

We are seeking factory hands to join our team. If you are handy with power tools, have a great work ethic and want to work with a great team, we have a range of positions available. Suitable candidates will have prior experience in fabrication of some sort, however a formal trade qualification and/or technical experience is not required. Opportunities to progress with the company are also available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpreting Engineering Drawings and following Quality Control processes
  • Mould assembly and preparation
  • Working with foam and mould fabrication processes
  • Preparing glass fabrics and assembling pre-forms
  • Assembling dry laminates and pre-forms as per technical drawings and QC processes
  • Vacuum bagging and resin infusion
  • Demoulding and trimming of fibreglass parts
  • Apply flow coats and coatings

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Requirements

Must be able to interpret drawings, technical specifications

  • Excellent hand tool skills
  • Ability to communicate and work well within a team environment
  • Strong eye for detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to learn
  • Reliability and Punctuality
  • A strong understanding of safe work practices and workplace health and safety
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Other skills, Licences and certifications such as first aid, forklift, crane, dogging etc would be an advantage, but not essential
