The **State Sales Manager** plays a key leadership role in overseeing the sales and service operations for the South Australian Opal Fibre Packaging (OFP) sales team, which also supports the Northern Territory. This position is responsible for driving sales performance and ensuring budgeted sales and contributions align with business expectations.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Proactively and systematically building value for Opal and assigned key accounts
- Promoting and developing sales potential and synergies that exist in the market
- Identifying and growing sales and contribution target market areas with quality customers
- Lead a team of sales professionals to deliver sales targets and new business
- Develop market plan for the assigned accounts, identifying and sizing all major customers and competitor accounts, qualifying and ranking opportunities
- Assess trends (declines and increases) in sales performance,.customer orders and reviews to determine sales strategy. Manage overall business portfolio to maximise division revenues and profitability; monitor and report on critical KPI’s
- Participate in BRAD reviews, monthly sales meetings and cross regional standardisation meetings to feedback data and present where necessary
- Liaise with appropriate Opal and OFP stakeholders, dealing with roadblocks, harnessing support and resources and disseminating corporate activities and decisions to the team
