Aerobond Pty Ltd is an industry-recognised advanced composites engineering and manufacturing organisation, specialising in the production of high-quality composite components for the defence, aerospace, and marine sectors.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Painter to join our advanced manufacturing facility in Woodville. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to precision composite components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and a solid work ethic, ensuring all finished products meet exacting industry standards.
You will be working with components for Aerospace, Defence and Space, and will be able to:
- Spray painting of primers and topcoat paints to composite parts using spray painting techniques, ensuring a flawless finish that meets strict quality standards
- Surface preparation of composite parts including sanding, filling and material preparation prior to painting
- Maintain and clean spray-painting equipment and workspace
- Use hand tools for surface preparation, trimming, and finishing tasks
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Document and report progress and troubleshooting on any issues that may arise
