We are currently seeking a dedicated Painter to join our advanced manufacturing facility in Woodville.  In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to precision composite components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and a solid work ethic, ensuring all finished products meet exacting industry standards.

You will be working with components for Aerospace, Defence and Space, and will be able to:

  • Spray painting of primers and topcoat paints to composite parts using spray painting techniques, ensuring a flawless finish that meets strict quality standards
  • Surface preparation of composite parts including sanding, filling and material preparation prior to painting
  • Maintain and clean spray-painting equipment and workspace
  • Use hand tools for surface preparation, trimming, and finishing tasks
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Document and report progress and troubleshooting on any issues that may arise
